Excellent planter for the price. Feels a bit flimsy until you fill it with soil, then it gets really sturdy. Large capacity.
It took a while to assemble it because of all the bits and pieces and instructions weren't super clear. But the end result is great. Love the look and space-saving. Can't wait to start my garden.
The instructions are absolutely useless. That being said if you are good at figuring things out the assembly isn’t to bad. It seems very robust after assembly. Will post more once the wife puts dirt in it and starts planting.
Fairly easy to put together (I didn't use the little bottom pipe-type inserts). I did have to use a hammer a couple of times to get the "waterproof" inserts in properly. However, I am missing one of the pieces that goes in the top of the corner sections. It's a purely cosmetic issue, but I am annoyed since I received an extra waterproof insert and not the top part.
I was a bit nervous about assembly and sturdiness due to some of the reviews I saw, but it was easier that IKEA to assemble it.The plugs at the bottom come in and out easily, which I appreciate here in Portland, OR. Terrential rain? I pull out the plug at the lowermost end of the box and let the water drain. Heat dome with record temps of 116? I put all plugs in to keep the moisture in as much as possible.Of note, the plastic did not become damaged in any way during the crazy heat wave, despite being on a hot dark deck and in full sun for most of the day.I cannot yet comment on how it withstands the winter, as that hasn't happened yet. But so far I feel like this is a pretty sweet deal for the $!
