The door is absolutely beautiful the workmanship and the quality of materials is outstanding all the Chrome finished parts are beautiful. It was fairly easy to install the instructions were a little confusing at times but overall the door is beautiful and I give it five stars. Two of the seals were damaged in shipping or package that way I don't know. I called the company I mean email the company they only wanted my order number and who I bought it from I sent that to them and they sent out the seals immediately UPS within 2 days how's that for customer service, beautiful. I will say the door is pretty heavy and I have the lower upper right roller all the way down and the inner upper ruler all the way up and I still can't get 100% seal on the wall and the wall is plum and square I contribute this to a slight bow in the stainless steel rod above it doesn't leak but there's about a 1/8 Gap at the top of the door seal but still the doors beautiful and I'm going to live with it the way it is. Thank you customer service for your quick response time and no hassle like wanting a picture or something thanks again Lara rich
I like the thickness (3/8 inch) of the glass and the quality of the frame. Once installed, it looks great. Installation requires at least 2 strong people since it weighs close to 200 lbs (each glass panel is close to 100 lbs). There are mistakes in the instructions. If you need to cut the top rail, don't follow the formula they give, but make the measurements after you figure out how it gets mounted. Otherwise the bar will need to have another 1/2 inch trimmed. If you need the door to be on the right (rather than the left), you need to dissemble the floor bracket that the door slides thru and flip it 180 degrees. I read the instructions 4 times to completely understand them.
This shower door is very high quality, packed nicely, shipped in a wooden crate... I wouldn't change a thing about it. It's VERY heavy, so make sure you've got help lifting the glass panels! I will likely never buy a shower door from any other company!
Heavy, looks great and a decent price.
This door will not mount to a shower stall, not a sheet rock wall. It must be mounted to a stud frame. That said, I do have an issue with the instructions on page 19. Step 8 is about drilling and installing the WALL and THRESHOLD mounts. The second part, 3rd sentence, clearly instructs to drill the threshold mounting holes using 5/16” drill bit and use the M4x30 screws. (This is incorrect and because; if the 5/16” bit is used the smaller screw will fall into the hole and not support anything.). THE SHOWER BASE WILL BE RUINED IF THE 5/16th hole is drilled. This instruction needs to be rewritten ASAP and a correction noted.
