Modern Interlocking Deck Tiles, Patio & Balcony, Waterproof

I use them outdoors on gravel, in front of my shed. The surface of the tiles will only be as level as the surface they are covering, but for my needs it did not need to be perfectly flat. They are easy to clean and plenty strong to walk/bike on/put lawn chairs and a grill on. The only downside is that they do fade after being in the sun for a few months. I don't consider that an issue, because they just fade from dark gray to light gray. It works best to put a board underneath when you're snapping them together. Otherwise they just dig into the grass or dirt and may not connect properly. A board underneath and a light whack with rubber mallet on the tile, will give a simple and secure connection.

These were the closest tiles to what we had put down for a pathway to our swing. It can get muddy after rain there. These tiles are fine; however, we needed ones without the connectors. We sometimes stub our feet on the connectors and the tiles move.
