SO happy with this item! Huge upgrade from the eyesore our A/C unit has been on our side yard for years. Easy to install and adjust to the correct height. Quick tip - I removed the panel from the bottom steaks as I found them easier to drive deep into the ground with my mallet when they were shorter. Then I slide the top panel back on top. Color of the wood seems slightly orange, but I know it will fade soon in the sun so I don't mind. Great value for the price and quality/sturdiness are great so far! Just installed it so will update as the years go by.
Very easy to put together instructions are well illustrated and the final product is beautiful
I had it assembled in 15 minutes. Just note that the wood is soft and not something that can take a beating. Some people in the comment section don't understand that. When installing it into the ground use a piece of wood to tap in it, THEN put the plastic end caps on last after installion. All common sense.
We love the looks of these panels BUT……. The panels can’t be tightened real secure because there is no way to rotate the longer nut end to the shorter screw piece. The longer nut piece has no head on it to grab with a tool. The head is just a thin flat piece that cannot be stabilized while turning the screw. It doesn’t matter which end you are trying to rotate, it is not going to work without the longer nut end having a head to be able to hold still and stabilize. The nut end just rotates with the screw.I have tried working with the seller but they have no answers as to the fix for the issue. Their response is to rotate the nut end and hold the screw still. You can’t rotate the nut end without a head on the end to grab a tool into.We purchased 2 of these units and we live on a hill that gets extreme strong winds and we need the panels to be tight not floppy. We even set the footings in concrete as our ground is solid rock we had to jack hammer. We used a different brand on the other side of the house and it is solid and tight. No issues at all. They used a real nut and bolt system.
This may look good on Amazon, but in reality, it is a piece of garbage. The metal rails are frail. The wood is thin and when you pound it into the ground, it breaks and falls apart. It is literally one step sturdier than Balsawood.I honestly don’t know how they can keep selling this crap, I realized once assembling it it was merely decorative, but it is so fragile, and so cheaply made it cannot even stand on its own.Don’t waste your time, your energy, your money, you will be extremely frustrated and will be returning this piece of inferior garbage!!!
