Worth every penny. I bought this cat tree in preparation to adopt my baby who arrived in early July. She is 7.5 pounds, she’s a small cat and she is full grown. Her foster family told me she loves high perches and my apartment has tall ceilings so obviously I had to buy the best cat tree money could offer. The fur coating is soft and comfortable but put off a lot of dust and a bit of a VOC smell while I was assembling it.It was pretty easy to assemble but you have to pay attention to the angle at which you position it as you’re building it so you can make sure that each layer is facing the direction that it’s supposed to. This became a bit of a puzzle for me but admittedly I’m not the best at this type of stuff. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble. I didn’t end up wanting or needing the ramp at the top. My cat is fine clambering or jumping through the holes on her own. Immediately upon bringing her home she took right to it and as her confidence has grown she has taken to zooming up and down like a little monkey. She will often climb straight up from the outside poles rather than take the inward path which is hilarious. So yes this is very climbable and the rope-coated pillars are sturdy. She also spends ample time in the hammock, this is her favorite spot, she sleeps in the hammock all day. After dinner or while she’s zooming around at night, she perches on the very top layer to watch over her kingdom. When I first got her and she was adjusting she spent lots of time in the little caves napping, and nowadays when she spends too long in her sun patch she will crawl underneath the second layer to get some shade. It’s quite stylish and goes well with my mid-century apartment that has lots of warm and dark woods. I vacuum it once in a while to collect all the fur off of it. The tipping risk is very low. It stands sperm and has withstood my crazy baby rambunctiously running up and down it like a mad woman. My cat likes to play with the little dangle puff balls when she’s feeling ferocious. It’s definitely big enough for two or three cats but my single cat is truly having a great time

I shopped for a carefully for a safe cat condo. This one has a smaller footprint and fits both of my cats - a 9.5 lb and a close to 14 lb larger cat. They both love the basket. I was concerned about it breaking - they previously had a cheaper smaller basket and it didn't break over the years. This time I also ordered a replacement basket from another seller. The basket that shipped with this cat condo is just as large and the metal felt more stable and sturdy than the replacement. I pushed the basket inward toward the front to where the rim slips over the board on that level. Between that and the support of the pole on the unattached side, the basket does not bend at all with the heavier cat. I think that maybe baskets break sometimes because someone tries to bend it back and that weakens the metal - feels like sturdy metal to me. This way, it bends as little as possible and if I see it out of place, I just push it back inward. The "better" basket I bought to replace did not have nearly as much metal as this one and I still haven't even installed it. I didn't strap the condo to the wall as it is pretty stable. There are many (all) staples exposed on the poles. They are much smaller than a normal sized staple and are mostly upright. I installed very consciously with the few off-vertical staples and maybe most staples in the direction least likely to be used by the cats - especially the outside - it is possible for the cats to run straight up from floor to the top like a tree. It's a really nice cat tree except for the staples and I just watch it closely to keep it safe. There has not been one problem, except the heavy cat ran all the way to the top and scared himself so much that he jumped off and avoided it until the next day. It was funny. He didn't know he could do that! It's really tall and fun to watch.

The best investment I ever made! My cat Mac absolutely loves this cat tree! Plays in it all day long. It is sturdy and he loves sitting/laying at the very top! If you’re looking for a good cat tree, this is it!

Very sturdy. My 2 larger Bombay cats who love to climb & jump adore this cat tower/tree. We needed something very tall, and very sturdy, that all 3 of our cats could use at the same time. I wanted something that had multiple supports for each level. This is very easy to assemble, no wobbling, and also looks great. Definitely worth the $ and not the most expensive on the market.

I don’t usually leave reviews for my online purchases. Good or bad reviews. With everything, like so many other people, with what I buy online, I would be leaving reviews all day long. But I wanted to take some time to give this a review. This was a great purchase! This unit is sturdy and well-made. It took a little while to put together because it’s so big but it was very easy to assemble. I didn’t want to attach it to the wall so I just placed a dumbbell on the bottom level just as a precautionary. Though I don’t really think my cat could actually knock it over. The kitty loves it! It’s very tall and well made. This is much better than the cheaper cat tree I bought last October. It’s worth spending the extra money. I highly recommend this cat tree.
