GRENADA Rustic L-Shaped Patio Sectional Sofa Set Acacia Wood

I bought this table December of 2019 for my apartment (which I still live in). Now that 5 years have passed, I can confidently say this is the nicest piece of furniture I own.I bought a lot of ikea furniture around that time, and all of them have problems. Flimsy, frayed, wobbly, chipped, you name it. I even had to replace my dining chairs in 2022, and now the replacement chairs are all broken!What this table really taught was the value in buying high quality furniture. Every piece of furniture in my apartment has stressed me out, except for this dining table. It’s heavy, sturdy, durable, stainproof, and best of all stylish. It’s hard to believe the amount of things I’ve spilled and cleaned on this table and it always turns out good as new.If you’re wondering if this table is worth the price, I am telling you yes, it is. This is my seal of approval after 5 years of owning it. If you want to invest in your long term home, this is a long term piece of furniture.

I ordered the walnut finish. Pros:• Material: This is true solid wood! No MDF or veneer. High quality materials are a must for me, and I was pleased the wood was as described.• Beautiful: The stain color is just what I wanted, and the wood has nice depth and variation in tone. It has a nice satin finish. The style perfectly suits my mid century modern home.• Packaging: It was VERY carefully packaged, with plenty of padding. It arrived in perfect condition.• Assembly: I found it pretty easy to assemble on my own. The instructions were clear and all parts were labeled. The hardware and instructions were thoughtfully bundled in a bright red zip pouch with a ribbon. This was a nice touch and made it easy to spot and remove these items from packaging.• Value: It can be difficult to find solid wood dining tables, especially with more unique styles, for under $1000. While it’s not as cheap as lower quality alternatives, it’s a great value for what you’re getting. Cons:• Top Rotation: For context, the tabletop sits on a piece that slides onto a metal center support. That piece’s center wasn’t a perfect square, so the metal base had extra space around it. I added some paper towel (see last pic) to pad out the space and prevent major rotation. It still rotates slightly, but with my Macgyvered solution it’s sturdy enough that it’s not an issue. I deducted a star for this issue.

The tabletop routinely breaks off the metal base. It is connected to the base with four adhesive pucks/nuts; if you lean even slightly (put your elbows on the table), the adhesive fails. We have to get it glued back on with strong epoxy every 3-4 months. It's annoying.Otherwise, it looks nice.

The media could not be loaded.It’s a really nice table, but poorly engineered. It’s not solid wood. There’s a metal post that runs up through the middle and is poorly fitted into the top resulting in severe tabletop wobbling. We temporarily fixed it with shims, but those shims work themselves loose. We are currently frustrated trying to fix it again just 2 months after delivery (and past the return window of course).

I got the 47" artificial marble with white metal base. FYI - artificial marble is POLISHED not honed. Base is glossy paint/shellac on metal with substantial weight (70 lbs). Looks stunning. The two crates/boxes are v heavy (top maybe over 120 lbs) were delivered into my kitchen. During the assembly, I had the crates open enough to allow me to inspect, but intact enough that if there was a problem, they could be closed for return. All was fine. I measured the hole distances on the top and base so prior to assembly we’d know the holes on top and base would line up. They did. The 4 bolts and 4 nuts and allen wrench were supplied in the base's box. Decrating and assembly was 30 minutes, but used a power drill on the top's crate screws and wrench for the nails on the base's crate. All is perfect. I'm thrilled. The other online furniture competition was disappointing. The similar table was $100 less but never in stock for months. They could not confirm shipment or when it would arrive, so I cancelled after ordering it 3 months earlier. They did not offer assembly (for a product over 150lbs, that's a problem!). I ordered this on Dec. 29 2017 and everything done on Jan 19 2018! Happy New Year!
