A 13 year old assembled this with no issues. My cat took to it right away. It will be moved to a window area after I put the Christmas tree away. The tree is perfect for what I wanted. I had to remove the you mice though because my cat will chew it until he swallows it, so it’s not safe for him unless he can be monitored and supervised. The tree is sturdy and reasonably priced. I recommend trying this tall cat tree.
This is the second cat tree we purchased. The first was not stable enough for an overweight cat, and it shaking made her self conscious of her size. This tree we placed in the most conspicuous of places, so she could see everything from it, and it looks lovely. The white fabric really ties into our rented apartments' white walls and you don't notice it jutting out in the middle of the room. Absolutely perfect. The rope is a tad confusing for her, so we knotted it up and tied a piece of string to hang down in its place. She adores that. It was easy to assemble. She had time to knock over the bowl of screws while I was assembling it, but no where near enough time to scatter them all. And the box! Elevated enough to know she is safe from the roomba, two openings perfectly placed to view out the window or towards the kitchen/living room. With a little shelf on either opening to place her head so she can stretch out facing whichever way she wants.Truly a masterpiece of a box. She spends all day napping in it, and I have gotten up in the middle of the night to get some water and I find my cat still sleeping in the box instead of under my bed. This tree has turned my cat into a decorative cat whom never leaves her box and no longer terrorizes the apartment at all hours. If I have any final words to say it's this: When this masterpiece was assembled, she didn't even bother jumping in the cardboard box it had came in. 5 stars!
I purchased these while they were on sale for a great price. It did take me a while to get them, but they were on back order from the sale I believe, and that was stated when I checked out, so I was ok with it. I have too many cats, so I am always looking for deals on the cat condos and toys to keep them busy so they don't tear up my furniture or house too much. I had little trouble putting it together on my own. Took me a bit, but that's always a given with these things. After I finally got it together and settled in its location, my cats seem to love it. It is sturdy and seems to be pretty well made. Yes, I have had other ones that seem a bit heavier but for the price I do really think this is a good buy. My cats fit in it with no issues and they are grown cats, not kittens. My one cat absolutely loves the rope, the other seems content to be lazy in the enclosed space near the top. So far I have had this up for a few weeks and they have scratched it to hell, but the scratching pads still seem to be firmly in place. Yes I'm sure those parts will be first to go, but they seem as if they will last a while. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to others. So I had the choice to get one new full price, or one “new but used” with about $20 off. It said “box damaged” which I thought meant the packaging, but it actually meant the actual box on the tree. The hole which the screw should’ve gone through was busted completely, so the screw wouldn’t attach, but luckily I had enough in my tool box to fix it. I can say it was not too bad to assemble, because it didn’t come with instructions, and I just guessed by looking at the picture. There was also a piece I had to hammer in a couple nails to hold it together. One mouse was missing and the other pretty messed up, so I hung new toys. Pretty much what to expect when you order used but new rather than new. It was quite damaged, so something to think about if you ever decide to go that route.Otherwise, the rug is soft and pretty. The sitting areas are a bit smaller than I thought. My cat is almost a year old but already too big to lie in them. Still, it’s nice and tall, sturdy, looks nice in the living room. Cat is still getting used to it, but it’s going to be something nice and tall for him to climb and perch on. Great for an indoor cat who needs something to climb and scratch on.

No. We don’t do we.Wellll here’s mine.I am a nine-year-old incredibly antisocial tabby. I’ve been anxious from the day I was born. I’m perfectly happy living up in my owner’s attic amongst the Christmas decorations and next to a box of some creepy old dolls. I have a heated cat house that I choose to sleep in up there. But in the winter it gets cold in the attic, so I occasionally come down to house to walk around and scoff at the attention I see the other pets getting. *Chumps*The female human likes to catch me and try and bond with me. I do not like this affection. I make it very clear to her that I do not like this affection. For some reason, she thought I needed this cat tower so that I can sleep in the room next to her, even closer to the things I do not like… Humans.Every night for the past five nights she has tried to get me to like this new sleeping arrangement and I make it very clear that she wasted her money.I give zero out of five stars for this. Not because of the quality but because I hate everything. Thank you for reading my review.-signed,The cat
